Cement at Walsall


Todays train being discharged with 60061 Alexander James Watt at the head (left). The empties returned to Tunstead some 5 hours late due to unspecified wagon problems.

  1. I remember when they used to use that siding to unload steel in the late 90s! Didnt find out till last year, having been of the scene for a while, that that cement terminal was now there... Great stuff..

  2. I remember when it was Walsall Carriage sidings with rakes of coaches stabled there, and the Gas Works opposite.... God i'm old.....
