A Northern Belle charter express from Birmingham International to Alnmouth passes through Daw End at 0645 this morning. Lead loco was 57301 with 57310 bringing up the rear.

Found this forgotten photo from 14th February 2014 showing Grid Class 56 56302 approaching Walsall with 6M50 Westbury - Bescot Colas engineers train. As far as photography was concerned it looks as though the light was just about to collapse!

Bridge 61 Repairs

A New Look for the Hardwick Crossing

Formerly known as Pig Farm Crossing and Roundabout Wood Crossing, Network Rail now prefer Lindarosa Road Foot Crossing for this site, but I think we'll stick to the better-known Hardwick (Wood) Crossing!

60054 hauls a long rake of empty steel 'pigsheds' for Immingham across the Park as 6E08 on 28th July 2015.

5Z44 FGW HST Stock

66054 brings a rake of empty First Great Western HST stock (and two barrier coaches) over the Park at 1545 on Saturday 25th July 2015. The coaches were running from Plymouth Laira to Kilmarnock for overhaul.
