Silver EWS flagship loco 67029 is dragged light engine by 66211 from Toton to Bescot this evening, captured here passing the quarry at Branton Hill. This view also shows the compact size of the class 67 loco when compared to the 66, which were originally
brought in to work as parcels engines.
Odd that this loco has never been named though...

They run out of money after buying all that silver paint !
Personally i think it should have been called "Silver Ghost" depicting it's colour & speed !
Yeah, not a bad name... if only Rolls Royce wouldn't mind.
Its a pity Royal Mail couldnt of suggested earlier that it was going to terminate its rail contract before the 67 were ordered. We may of had more 37s still running about now.....
