Rail Operations Group EuroPhoenix 37800 was sent to the Severn Valley Railway at Kidderminster on Wednesday 3rd August to haul two Network Rail Class 73 ED's to Derby RTC. In the event 73951 and 73952 were already fired up and made their own way back, dragging the forlorn EP 37 behind them.

D1015 Western Champion hauls Deltic 55019 from the SVR to Barrow Hill on Sunday 4th October. Colas loco 37219 was out on a test train the same day (with DBSO).

Top and Tailed Flask

Rain-drenched shots of 6M56 on the up line at Streetly on the evening of the August Bank Holiday. 37611 and 37609 were top-and-tailing the container running from Berkeley via Stourbridge and Bescot to Nuneaton, where the crew would change ends and continue on to Crewe. This was due to engineering operations being carried out between Bushbury and Stafford.

The 'flying banana' NR HST test train is seen returning to Derby on the Sutton Park line during the afternoon of 22nd July, and also flask train 6M63 with 37612 + 37610 Bridgwater - Crewe CS around the same time. Both captured by the camera of Richard Coghlan.

6V73 Early Morning Flask

37605 + 20305 storm through the Park Lime Pits well before 0600 this morning with the 6V73 Crewe CS - Berkeley flask train. Also seen was a Speno railgrinder returning to Washwood Heath from Aston.
