Two Skips

67026 and 67016 top and tail some stock (10 mixed coaches) returning to Oxley Carriage Sidings this afternoon.
The train had been used to provide extra raceday services to Cheltenham during the week.
Typically the sun clouded over 10 minutes or so before the train passed....

Nice shots, shame about the traction! Never mind, no doubt the 67s will be gone soon. A 125mph loco with no suitable work? Only EWS could achieve that....

I expect the new Wrexham-Marylebone company will hire a few of 'em....
ps I don't mind the 67s, I think they look kinda neat.

Very nice locos inside, not as noisy as the 66s, but a bit too high geared for their current duties, they were ideal for the Tasker St to Aberdeen DHL run.

We await the Marylebone service with interest.
