A great old photo from June 1959 showing 0-6-0 locomotive 58124 heading towards Park Lane Jn with a short engineers train. In the background beyond Penns Lane bridge can be seen Penns station platforms, part of which still remain today.
Compare this photo with the modern view posted on Feb.22nd 2008 showing two class 67s in virtually the same position.
